Where the opportunity is

  • Sustainability measures for schools, healthcare, sports and public buildings.
  • Integrated renovation routes and individual measures.
  • Energy performance improvements tied to long-term property strategy.
  • Link with portfolio-level energy procurement and reporting.

Key conditions to check

  • The applicant must own eligible social/public real estate.
  • Do not start measures before the application route allows it.
  • Economic activity and state aid status can affect conditions.
  • Combination with other subsidies is limited by RVO conditions.
COMCAM guidance

Do not let the subsidy choose the technology.

COMCAM can help prioritise measures across a property portfolio and connect DUMAVA to budget certainty, heat transition, procurement strategy and reporting obligations.

Common pitfalls

  • Starting work too early.
  • Treating every building the same instead of ranking by profile and risk.
  • Not checking state aid and combination restrictions.

Practical next steps

  • Map eligible buildings and ownership.
  • Prioritise measures by energy impact and feasibility.
  • Check combination rules and timing.
  • Prepare documentation before the round closes on 16 October 2026.
